A similar version of the programme was implemented in Latvia as well, during JA Latvia’s annual national marketing conference (about 500 students) for secondary school students on marketing. The conference took place in the cinema theatre in the shopping centre, and after the inspirational lectures the students got A4 page each with specific task that they need to do in interaction of the enterprises in the shopping centre (job interview simulation, observing marketing tools that are used, proposing a new marketing activity etc.). What is needed to implement that - shopping mall, arrangements with different enterprises there, marketing theory put in the practical tasks that are printed and spread for young people.

Local Business Navigation (Job Navigation)
Job Navigation offers students from 5th to 8th graders an opportunity to learn about their local businesses. Students will navigate to local business in their city in small groups. In the businesses there are 9th graders who work as tutors and give them tasks and the local entrepreneur is also present to tell about the business.
The tutors create tasks together with the business owners. After the group has completed one task, they will move to the next local business and get a new task.
Students will learn about local businesses in practice, learn how essential teamwork is and will get to know businesses, which might interest them in the future.

Pains / Challenges
Teachers find it difficult to implement entrepreneurship in primary and middle school, because for most of them EE is a new subject and they might be afraid that this kind of program takes too much time. They might also think that local businesses wouldn’t be interested in this kind of program.
