Additional information: OctoSkills is an initiative built on the research project ASTEE, which constructed self-assessment tools for measuring the entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and students’ competences at all educational levels. Teachers and other stakeholders can benefit from the use and the results of OctoSkills as it serves as a tool to assess impact and effectiveness of different kinds of entrepreneurship education across multiple countries and, in the long run, it can help encourage more young people to choose entrepreneurship education opportunities at school. OctoSkills is free to use and offers two kinds of survey, a pre-mid-post survey and a reciprocal survey. Both will show educational progress and teaching effects.

Promotion tools such as website, folders, ads in school magazines etc. could promote the tool at teacher and student events. We would like to push it from both policy level and teacher / student level to ensure penetration in the education sector.

The surveys can be distributed pre, mid, post of the initiative which make it possible to use the App as a diagnostic instrument. The surveys can also be distributed solely after the initiative if it is only the impact that should be measured.
